Pillar 1 Be Present

A quick review of the first pillar. Be Present.

Being present and practicing mindfulness, alters the brain in a way that directly affects our reactivity and anxiety caused by stress.

Consistent practice of Being Present is a crucial first step to building mental strength.

The pillars themselves are really just a way of grouping some of the big concepts of positive psychology together. Each pillar has many separate parts. Often those parts overlap and can be equally valid in other pillars. The focus is on working on multiple factors consistently over time with multiple tools. The idea being that if it looks good, and it works for you, adopt it.

Oops. 57. Lol. Should have checked my math. Philosophy I cheated on and did a YouTube lecture series on the history of philosophy. Haha. Fill gap was hard. Lol

Neglected Value was probably the most uncomfortable. Explain someone's value was a little disarming to people. I certainly did like the effect tho!

How the 8 Pillar Program started

As you can tell I look left when I think. Haha. Will redo later. 😁

Just an explanation of what inspired me to create the 8 Pillar Program.

I saw the need to take all the science available and create a system that would help build mental strength. The goal being to have greater life satisfaction, better outcomes, and a longer life.
