The Busy Guy
This one addresses a need for extra time with busy people.

1. Be Present.
Do a Body/Emotion Fast Scan. Scan and regulate Body tension/posture and regulate emotion. (See post in Resources for instructions.)

2. Be Positive.
Positive Reframing exercise. Practice using this phrase, “What can I learn from this?” Take any personal and recent setback or obstacle. Small or large. Write down one lesson that comes from it.

3. Be Kind.
Set a healthy boundary with someone, by using the following 4 ideas or any system you like.
Clarity- Clarify the problem to yourself. Decide where to place a personal boundary.
Communication- Communicate the boundary plainly and understandably.
Consistency- Be consistent with enforcing the boundary.
Compassion- Always rely on compassion. (Be non-reactive and calm)

4. Nurture your Relationships.
Attempt to coregulate a friend or family member. (Anxiety to relaxation. Distracted to engaged, Etc.)
1 point per rep. (point is for attempt. It doesn't matter if you are Successful.)
5. Grow your Mind.
Use a tool that will build a Growth Mindset. (Use list in Grow Your Mind Folder for suggestions)
1 point per rep. (Apply 5 minutes towards the task.)
6. Optimize your Situation.
Remove 1 money spending or time spending item no longer needed.
1 point per rep.
7. Care for your Body.
Dim lights 1 to 2 hours before bed.
1 point per rep.
8. Find your Meaning.
Write 2 sentences on a shared value that is important to your family and you. (Ask them if you get stuck.)(Resources folder has Core Value ideas.)
