Be present is a core idea of Positive Psychology. It is integral to Martin Seligman's PERMA model, a framework for wellbeing. There are over 700 clinics dedicated to the practice of MBSR. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Thanks to Jon Kabat-Zinn. The science has proven the effectiveness of these methods for reducing PTSD symptoms, Fear, anger, and anxiety. The 8 Pillar Program will touch on short forms of these various practices, to showcase the ideas behind them and to give you a sample. I recently saw this line in a movie trailer, and it really resonated. It is a very important form of kindness. It is an expression of negativity that damages all types of connections. With over 30 years as a Toronto firefighter and fire captain, I help bring real-world experience to resilience and performance coaching. Backed by studying positive psychology and certifications from Harvard, PESI, and the Transformation Academy,
